An ambigram, also sometimes known as an inversion, is a graphical figure that spells out a word not only in its form as presented, but also in another direction or orientation.

I started making ambigrams after reading the book Angels and Demons by Dan Brown. I was amazed by how the artist, John Langdon, create the ambigrams for the words, Illuminati, Earth, Air, Fire and Water. The Illuminati Diamond, which showed the 4 elements in one ambigram was really awesome.

Here are my collection of my ambigrams designs. I use Adobe Photoshop and fonts that are downloadable from the internet. I love using English-type fonts and Scripts since they look attractive and fancy.

Ambigrams are great for tattoos, gifts, novelty items, and t-shirt designs. To create one requires a lot of time and effort to make sure each design looks great and readable.
